Breakfast Club

Here at Victoria, a large number of pupils attend Breakfast Club from 7.30am every morning. As well as eating a healthy and nutritious breakfast with their friends, children enjoy the wide range of activities which are available each day and enjoy checking in with warm and welcoming adults who are keen to engage them in some good fun before the formal school day begins.

Food choices include toast, bagels and a range of cereals. We know that children are much more likely to eat foods they wouldn’t try at home in the company of their friends – so breakfast club is especially suitable for your child if they are a fussy eater!

At 8:00 AM, children can head outdoors for structured, adult-led games designed to build teamwork and sportsmanship. We split our activities into two distinct areas to cater to different interests. The first area focuses on social play, encouraging children to collaborate, communicate, and problem-solve together. The second area is dedicated to active play, providing a energetic space where we foster cooperative teamwork and positive sportsmanship.

Children have the choice to continue to play inside, where they can take advantage of the wide variety of activities, from table football & pool to Chromebooks, drawing and even Just Dance competitions.

From 8.30am, pupils move into their classroom where learning officially begins. Children are eager to be the first to arrive in class each morning and learning begins swiftly with set routines allowing us to get going with classroom learning straight away.

With opportunities to play and be social, build relationships with key adults AND get ahead with learning – Breakfast Club is so much more than eating breakfast!
