Digital Ambassadors

Every year, we are proud to run our Digital Ambassadors program—an initiative that continues to be a huge success by giving our students a genuine voice in our school’s digital journey.
Our Digital Ambassadors include representatives from every class in Key Stage 1 and 2. Meeting once every half-term, this dedicated team works continuously to:
-
Review our Computing Curriculum: They provide invaluable feedback on what is working well in the classroom and suggest new ideas to keep our lessons engaging and relevant.
-
Innovate with Technology: The team identifies new ways technology can improve our school, from testing out new classroom tools to launching whole-school initiatives.
-
Write for the Blog: They regularly share their digital projects and insights on our school blog, keeping the entire community updated on their ongoing progress and discoveries.
Year after year, our Digital Ambassadors play a vital role in shaping the future of technology at our school and we love watching each new cohort leave their mark!
Online Safety Week
For Online Safety Week, our incredible Digital Ambassadors at Victoria Primary Academy led the charge for smarter and safer screen time. Recently, they dedicated their lunchtimes, breaks, and time at home to prepare for Online Safety Day, which focused entirely on Artificial Intelligence. The students actively experimented with AI tools to create their own songs, CGI pictures, and short movies so they could fully understand how the technology functions. They then took center stage to deliver professional, engaging assemblies, guiding their peers through the history and benefits of AI while providing crucial advice on how to stay safe online. We are incredibly proud of these young leaders for sparking mature debates and doing a tremendous job of educating our school community.
They were even features in Wellspring’s ‘Difference Makers’ magazine!
