Pupil Premium Funding Statement

Pupil Premium is an additional sum of money allocated to schools to support the learning of vulnerable groups of children.

It is aimed specifically at supporting children in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM), children looked after by the local authority (CLA) and children of armed forces personnel.

The intention of these funds is to increase progress and raise attainment.

PE and Sport Premium Funding

Since 2013, the Government has annually provided additional funding to improve provision of Physical Education (PE) and sport in primary schools.

Victoria Primary Academy must use the funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport offered.

The funding can be used to

  • develop or add to the PE and sport activities that the school already offers.
  • make improvements now that will benefit pupils joining the school in future years.
